February 11th 2005 ‘Public relations & branding
for customer retention’ Invitation to the Communicators’ Best Practice Forum third seminar. The Communicators’ Best Practice Forum is pleased to announce details of the third event in its series of seminars for senior communications professionals. ‘Public relations & branding for customer retention’ This event follows on from our last successful event, which examined the influence that communications and communications strategy have in shaping the brand. Bringing together a maximum of 25 senior practitioners from both the public and private sectors, we will examine how communications can or should be used to influence customer retention. How can public relations be used to protect, maintain and enhance your customer base in the face of competition? Should public relations professionals be customer ambassadors? What role, if any, should communicators play in linking brand and corporate values with customer retention? Or should their primary concern be on promoting the brand and letting sales turn effort into income? This latest discussion is kindly being hosted by Coca-Cola at their Hammersmith offices, London W6 on Friday 11 February. It will run from 10.30am to 2.30pm, including a buffet lunch. The event is to be chaired by Roger Haywood FIPR, past president of the Institute of Public Relations and past chairman of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Speakers will be:
Director of communications, Coca Cola Europe There will be a full opportunity for discussion, both in the individual sessions and in a guided round table discussion prior to lunch. A note of issues raised and key opinions will be sent as a debrief report to delegates. A dedicated website [www.BestPracticeForum.net] will provide an opportunity for discussion to continue on this and future seminars. Date: 11 February 2005 Time: 10.30am – 2.30pm Location: Coca-Cola Offices – Hammersmith, London W6 The cost of attending this seminar is just £95. At the end, delegates will take away full speakers’ notes. Attendance will also provide delegates with access to the Communicators’ Best Practice Forum web site. Places are strictly limited, on a first come first served basis. To register, please reply to info@bestpracticeforum.net or call 0845 095 0400 and ask for Daniel West
