Jonathan
Chandler is the Communications Director of Coca-Cola Europe Eurasia Middle
East, based in London.
Jonathan is responsible for managing the corporate and marketing
communications for the EEME business unit He also supports and advises local
operations and represents the business unit on The Coca-Cola Company’s global
communication council. He joined The Coca-Cola Company in August 2000 as West
Europe Group Communications Director.
Before joining the Company, Mr. Chandler served as the Corporate Communications
and Public Affairs Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa with the Eastman
Kodak Company for two years. From 1994 to 1998 he worked as Corporate Relations
Manager with Lucas Varity plc and as Communications Director with the Perkins
Group (Varity Corp). Prior to this, Mr. Chandler held communications and
business development positions with Lucas Industries plc, Central Television and
British Airways.
He started his career in 1982 as a reporter with Heart of England Newspapers.
His career in journalism included posts with Birmingham Post & Mail, Sunday
Mirror and Daily Mirror.
Mr. Chandler qualified as a newspaper journalist at Harlow Technical College in
Essex.
